Head in the Sky, Feet in the Mud Lecture Series in Los Angeles

October marks the kickoff of our LA Lecture Series, “Head in the Sky, Feet in the Mud.”

Each lecture will present different aspects of conservation, from water supply to ecosystem services, and their impact on human development. Our first lecture on October 8, “Achieving a Prosperous Ocean,” will focus on marine conservation and will feature Dr. Greg Stone, CI’s Senior VP of Marine Conservation & Chief Scientist for Oceans, and Dr. Sebastian Troëng, CI’s Global Marine Vice President.

Drs. Stone and Troëng will present Conservation International’s plan to apply four global solutions to restore and maintain a prosperous ocean and spur a revolution in marine governance and management.

The lecture begins at 7:00pm at the G2 Gallery.
G2 Gallery is located at 1503 Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Venice, CA 90291
