Economist, Climate + Forests (Former CI Employee)

Dr. Jonah Busch is the climate and forest economist at CI. Jonah is the lead author and developer of the OSIRIS suite of spreadsheet-based decision-support tools for estimating and mapping various metrics related to conservation policy decisions. He has published on the topics of finance, scope, equity, reference level design and the biodiversity co-benefits of REDD+. Jonah served in the Peace Corps as a high school math teacher in Burkina Faso. He speaks French and Mooré fluently and is conversational in Spanish. He has traveled in more than 60 countries.
