Miroslav Honzák leads research on mapping and quantifying of ecosystem services from applied community-based research to global scale modeling. As part of his role at CI, he also develops strategic partnerships with conservation and development institutions, academia, government agencies and businesses. Miroslav’s current projects include, among others: Application of Artificial Intelligence for Ecosystem Services (ARIES) – an online analytical modeling platform; Attaining Sustainable Services from Ecosystems (ASSETS) – a project that aims to explicitly quantify the linkages between the ecosystem services that affect – and are affected by – food security and nutritional health for the rural poor.
