Last day of the conference and everybody is tired, especially those that stayed up late drinking Tanduay, the local rum. Today the output of the working groups will be presented, identifying the main climate issues for the Verde Passage and the priority recommendations for adaptive management of marine resources and for preparing the local communities of the Verde Passage for climate change. At lunch time the Governor of Occidental Mindoro – Mrs. Josephine Ramirez Sato – arrived. This morning I woke late and still have to finish my presentation. I am the first speaker and I have to present on climate change adaptation, trying to set up the scene for today’s work on mainstreaming climate change adaptation.
